Some simple steps to get you started on your tiling project!

It can super hard to figure out what to do and where to start when beginning a new tiling project. Whether that be floor tiling in a new home, undertaking a bathroom renovation or organising tile repairs. There are a few key things that need to be considered to ensure your job goes smoothly and that you get the end result that you are after.

Ideas!

First of all its a great idea to have a strong vision of what you are wanting from your tiling project. You might already have a clear vision of what you are after which is great! OR you may need some help understanding current design trends or what might suit your space the best which we are more than happy to help you with! We work with some of the major tile suppliers in Adelaide to get the latest modern tiles and best prices for our customers.

Work out how many tiles you need

Now you need to work out how many tiles you will need. It is important to make sure that you order plenty of tiles to accommodate for wastage so that you don’t run out of tiles at any stage. There is nothing worse than getting almost to the end of a tiling project and running out of tiles, especially if the same tiles can’t be sourced again! So, make sure you work with us to determine exactly how many tiles you will need for your job.

What else do I need?

Next step in getting this tiling project up and running is working out what other items you will need in order to finish the project. Baths, vanities, tapware, toilets, shower screens… There are many great suppliers in Adelaide and so many options to choose from. Will you choose a back to wall toilet, wall hung vanity or maybe a heated towel rail. It’s great to compile a list of the items you think you might need and make some selections prior to your job commencing.

Adelaide Bathroom Renovations | Wow BIG Job!

So you’ve done some painting & gardening around the house and you’ve done really well at it!

Exteriors looking great, garden is flourishing & now it is time to turn your atention to interioir and get rnovation!

It seems like all suburbs of Adelaide are renovating in one way or another. Plastering in Payneham, new windows in Warradale, carpentry in Clarence Park, knocking up new decks in Dover Gardens. Fencing in flagstaff hill, plenty of plumbing in Plympton to be done and we know the plumbers to trust to do it!

They’re demolishing houses in Daw Park and laying slabs of concrete in cumberland park. Beautiful kitchens being installed in Kurralta Park & tiled splash backs in Tennyson. Tilers are tiling living rooms with large format tiles in Torrensville & tilers are working flat out like a lizard in Lightsview tiling all the new homes being built there! Extensions are being erected in Everard Park & the tilers in Adelaide are all up early to beat that Adelaide city traffic.

House lots are getting smaller and gone are the days of a ¼ acre block with 4-5 bedroom homes with monster bathrooms & massive oversized laundries (well for most of us anyway!) #sigh
